WATERCOLOR
"Unbeknownst to my developing self, my mother enrolled in a watercolor painting class early in her pregnancy. I had seen some of her paintings whenever it was time to clean the garage but it wasn't until well into adulthood did I really look at them. Most were still life of various fruits and a curiously large amount of water melon, both whole and cut. But what I noticed most of all is that she outlined the objects in each painting. I realized that I too for some of my work would outline the objects as she had done."
