SKIP/HENRY FAQ

Thank you for wanting to own original art! Unlike a reproduction from the local big box store, original art is created with practiced skills and an emotional connection while creating the piece. As you make your selection, please keep in mind that most paintings are not perfectly flat and may have varied textures created by the artist's process. Many original paintings are supported by a heavy stretched canvas, with a gallery profile of approximately 1.5”. The sides of this painting are not painted so you may see drips and texture on the sides of the canvas.

PAINT

The paints used in this art are either Golden or Liquitex or a combination of the two. Both have high pigment loads and have been rated lightfast. The painting is finished with an archival varnish with UVLN protection as a topcoat.

SHIPPING

In our current times, shipping is expensive, but please understand that your painting is packed professionally by a local shipper who understands the value of original artwork. It's insured during the shipping process and handled by professionals who are experts in transporting artworks.

There are size limitations on what can be shipped through our shipping partners. Larger canvases will be reoved from the frame and shipped carefully rolled in a shipping tube. Upon receipt you will need to have hte canvas stretched onto a new frame at a quality framer. If you need support in finding a qualified framer pleas reach out via email.
